Bust-a-Vault Slots

If you like classic game play, colorful graphics, and winning lots of money, then you are in for a treat! Rival games has made a compelling little package for players of all kinds, relying on very simple gameplay mechanics to suck you in immediately. No matter what kind of player you are, there’s probably something for you to enjoy here. There’s not much to fault about the game, other than the fast pace that you can either be winning or losing whenever you try your luck!

Things We Love

We really love the inherent simplicity to everything, which one combined with the theme, makes for a memorable experience. There are many slot machine games that are themed around cracking safes and related things, but none of them have quite the field that this one does. It seems very authentic, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, and has enough hilarity to it to keep you interested. It is a little under done in some areas, but that can also add to its charm.

We also enjoyed the betting amounts that leave something to be desired in some areas, but overall just make the game accessible and fun. Even if you don’t want to put down a lot of money, you can still have a good time with this one!

Things We Hate

One thing we definitely did not like about the game, despite finding much to enjoy, is how lazy some of the graphics are. Most of them are wonderfully well done, and look absolutely fine. They look like they did some vector tracing here, and they used it all to grade effect. What is not so well done, however, are the bar symbols, and other evidence of laziness that went into those. It does not at all match the rest of the game, which is great, and is a shame.

Our Verdict

Bust-a-Vault Slots is a very low-key game that takes its cues from classic slot machines and tries to up the ante by making things fast, frenetic, and easy to understand. With a premise that you can’t help that relate to and some graphics that are a mix of great and bad, this is a game that will leave a lasting impression on you, and one you will probably be playing for some time. It doesn’t have staying power, but it’s very easy to come back to!
